LAB-NETWORK
UNESCO’s Ecohydrology Programme is a scientific endeavor to understand and elucidate the dynamic relationships between hydrological, social, and ecological systems; to consider how these interact with each other, and to seek new ways to balance human and environmental needs in respect to water resources. As we confront global sustainability challenges to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), there is an urgent need to accelerate research in ecohydrology and advance conceptual frameworks for effective implementation.
The Ecohydrology Lab Network aims to offer an opportunity for advancing research on fundamental ecohydrological processes and to foster the development of innovative Ecohydrological Nature-based Solutions (EH-NbS).
